Manafort Pleads GUILTY

Who is going to jail next? Hint: look up.

Paul Manfort, previously Trump campaign chair (5 months), has pleaded guilty to two charges - conspiracy against the US, and conspiracy to obstruct justice. The deal includes 46 MILLION dollars of asset forfeiture - essentially paying for what Trump previously called a "witch hunt" (which previous to this had 5 GUILTY pleas, and 17 indictments), and for Manafort to be a cooperating witness. U.S. District Court judge Amy Berman Jackson was presented with “I plead guilty” by Paul Manafort, and his plea has been accepted.

FBI Cover-up?

Makin' dat money.

President Trump was involved in the decision to overturn years of planning and millions of dollars relocating the FBI headquarters. It would appear he wanted the headquarters to be closer to his new DC hotel, a decision made for personal gain (hoping for big FBI business in the future). "Last year, the Trump Administration inexplicably overturned years of work to move the FBI out of its structurally deficient headquarters and into a new location, wasting thousands of staff hours and millions of taxpayer dollars."

Collusion Confusion?

This is all wrong.

Did President Trump admit to Russian collusion via tweet? "Fake News reporting, a complete fabrication, that I am concerned about the meeting my wonderful son, Donald, had in Trump Tower. This was a meeting to get information on an opponent, totally legal and done all the time in politics - and it went nowhere. I did not know about it!". Colluding with Russia, a hostile enemy state is not "done all the time", and conspiring to rig an election is not legal.

Behavior

Anonymous's picture
Dear Mr. Trump: I have watched you for many years and always thought that you had a bit of intelligence. But in all honesty, I am very, very, very disappointed in your unacceptable behavior and attempt at leadership. I really think that you ought to take stock of your situation and realize, that you really do not have what it takes to be a decent and honorable president or human being for that matter. I do not mean to hurt your feelings, but you really need to give up the ghost, so to speak. I don't know who raised you, but you apparently did not get good discipline, which is a pity. You have become a selfish and bitter man who does not deserve all the opportunities that you have. You take advantage of anyone you can, you never put yourself in the other person's shoes, you insult everyone you can and are not very mature or intelligent for that matter. You are a very sad person. You can't possibly be a Christian. Your overall behavior is totally appalling, to say the least. I am ashamed of you.

G. Cohen's picture

We have elected members of Congress primarily to represent of other things domestic and economic stability. Our Chief Executive’s total failure in carrying out his duties in a presidential manner. He is disrupting the status quo? He is sPlitting the country apart from individuals to major corporations

If Congress is concerned we have given this man 13 months.

It is now time to enact the 25th Amendment. There may be enough Republicans who will listen to their conscience and cross over the aisle
