What do you plan on doing about the water supply in this country?
Approximately 87% of the U.S. population relies on public water sources - some of which are contaminated with lead or even brain eating amoebas! This can not continue.
The Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), enacted in 1974 and amended in 1986 and 1996, regulates contaminants in public water supplies, provides funding for infrastructure projects, protects sources of drinking water, and promotes the capacity of water systems to comply with SDWA regulations. These regulations need to be updated for the new world we live in. We have to do better for our children and grandchildren.
So tell me Mr. President - what are you going to do?
